Shot blasting can remove oxides, dirt and rust from the metal surface.
Before manufacturing brake pads, we have to do a shot blasting process for the steel back plate.
After the steel back surface is shot blasted, the surface roughness increases, which enhances the adhesion between the friction block and the steel back plate.
