The brake pad base layer is the part between friction block & steel plate. It plays an important part for safety, but only limited factories have brake pads base layer on the manufacturing process.
The friction block and steel plate are glued together with a special glue. Braking generates heat. During high-speed emergency braking, the temperature of the brake pad can reach more than 500 degrees Celsius.
High temperature will make the glue fail very slowly. The glue can work before the brake pad is used up. Under frequent high-speed emergency braking or special environments, the glue may fail before the brake pad is used up, which is the problem of friction block delamination.
Once friction blocks delamination happens, the brake pad will lose its braking performance, which may cause brake failure or even make the car out of control. This serious safety risk is ignored by many manufacturers.
We are experienced in brake pads international trading, and we know the quality of our products determines our partner's reputation. Even if the friction block delamination doesn't happen frequently, our factory still considers this issue carefully.
We have a base layer manufacturing process. The base layer will prevent glue failure from high temperature during braking.
All brake pads we manufacture have a base layer. We manufacture our brake pads carefully, just to offer our partners safer driving!
